Venezuela 2002 - Roraima: the trip down
After our second night on Roraima, we set out on the return journey, retracing our steps from the route up.

With the slope in our favour, we walked down past base camp and back to the Tek River camp in one day. We were delighted to find, when we got there, that one of the locals had brought out a crate of beer and opened a bar.

On the final day of the hike, we walked back to Peraitepui, arriving at lunchtime. We were very happy to find the cars there to meet us, and to take a break from walking.
